Day 23; Kindergarden

When I was in kindergarten....

Worries consisted of what toys to play with, who would tie my shoes, and who I wanted to play with at recess.

I didn't worry about what bills needed paid when. How many hours of endless homework I had to do. When my hubby was going to be home.

And according to Brad:

When naptime was, when recess was, and which puzzle pieces went where.

He didn't worry about when he had to be where, who he had to visit on the road to sell semen, or when he'd make it home next.

In kindergarten you never worried about if your clothes matched. Purple and red were the best combination.... EVER!

In kindergarten there was no drama over boyfriends and girlfriends, instead it was over toys and crayons.

In kindergarten I became a big sister to one of the most annoying, but cutest sisters ever. Today I lover her very much.

I also didn't scream and fight and treat my parents like crud.

What happened to kindergarten days? When worries and arguments were nothing necessary. When life was easy. When drama wasnt really worth the time.

Today so many people, grown ups in particular, worry about material things, personal appearance, and stupid stuff. When kids treated their parents with respect, and they looked up to their elders.

It's amazing to see the difference a few years can make when it comes to stuff like this.

How has the world changed since you were in kindergarten? See any similarities from those listed above?
